Yaser Kassab is a filmmaker born in Syria and based in Stockholm, Sweden. 


He holds a master’s degree in film from Gothenburg university. Yaser is known for ‘On the Edge of Life’, which premiered at Cinema du Reel Film Festival and earned the Joris Ivens and CNAP award as the best first film. At Festival dei Popoli, it gained the best mid-length documentary award and further awards. In 2019 his film ‘I Have Seen Nothing, I Have Seen All’, premiered at Vision du reel. Both films were screened at many festivals, including IDFA, RIDM, Tempo, Carthage, and Cairo.

Rima Alhamedd, is an Artist/Architect, who was born in Syria in 1986, based in Stockholm.

She holds a Master's in Sustainable Urban Planning and Design at KTH. She has a bachelor's degree in Architecture from Aleppo University, and studied in the Master's program of Chaillot, in the restoration and rehabilitation of archeological and historical sites in Damascus.


Rima also studied Fine Arts and Photography in three schools around Sweden and did work on several photography projects. Rima was the director assistant of the film “On the Edge of Life”

and worked as an editor in “I have seen nothing, I have seen all”


She did two short animation videos and participated in several training workshops in filmmaking in Beirut and Istanbul with professional trainees.
